I use it for my short game ie chipping to assess if I am making ball then ground contact and it works fine. Best chipping training aid because the mark left on the mat doesn’t lie. Perhaps not suited to hard full swings but improving your chipping contact and controlling swing low point has direct benefit for full swing.
