To start, I have lots and lots of fine hair, kind of a wavy/curly texture. With each kid I have my hair gets even curlier and harder to straighten, so I was so relieved when this brush straightened my hair (particularly the back) with little effort! The pictures I provided show my natural, day 1 hair and my hair after using this straightening brush with no product except a little heat protectant. It doesn’t leave your hair as sleek and shiny as other tools might, but it didn’t leave my hair frizzy or dry either so that’s a huge plus. I even went outside in like 90% humidity and my hair didn’t frizz or curl, which is pretty amazing! Love this straightening brush. One more thing, the style of the heating pads on this are really nice as the outer edges don’t get crazy hot, and the shape allows you to get right up next to your scalp without burning yourself!
