What is OBD?

RevKing is a device that plugs into the car’s OBD2 port. Through this port, RevKing can access data, such as the car’s live RPMs and throttle activation. This port can also be used for aquiring car diagnostic data.

Application Connectivity

By connecting your RevKing to your phone, you can choose between different engine sounds. The RevKing sensor sends the engine’s speed to the phone applicaiton which then matches the sound produced. Download the app here:

RevKing Car Installation

Step 1

Locate the OBD port: The OBD port is usually* located beneath the steering wheel to the left of the driver’s side of the vehicle. It’s a small, rectangular-shaped connector that is typically black or gray.

Step 2

Connect the RevKing sensor: Insert the RevKing device into the OBD port until it clicks into place. Make sure the sensor is securely connected, but avoid forcing it or applying excessive pressure.

Step 3

Use the application: Connect your RevKing using bluetooth to your phone, and open the RevHeadz application. Choose your favourite engine sound and you are done!
